Hosted by Teen Challenge Tasmania, this alcohol-free evening invites you to take up a meaningful challenge: for one night, set aside the familiar to stand in solidarity with young people striving for a better future.

Set against the backdrop of live entertainment, heartfelt stories, and vibrant community spirit, the Gala offers a celebration unlike any other. Together, community leaders, compassionate individuals, and businesses will gather for a night of celebration, connection, and generosity—all to empower the next generation with the hope and opportunities they deserve.

This year’s Gala features:

  • Op Shop Gala: We’re encouraging all guests to embrace the theme of sustainability and creativity by dressing in formal wear sourced from op shops. Visit Hope Costumes & Thrift Store—a Teen Challenge Tasmania initiative—where you can find stunning pieces for the Gala and directly contribute to empowering at-risk youth.

  • Live Auction: Don’t miss the chance to secure unforgettable experiences, including private masterclasses, behind-the-scenes tours, and bespoke creations.

  • Silent Auction: Bid on an incredible array of unique items and experiences curated exclusively for this event.

These have been created specially for Teen Challenge Tasmania.

  1. Launceston Distillery. Step inside a 2 1/2 hr Distillery Tour for one person. A personal experience where you will be guided through the whisky making process, one on one with owner Chris and getting to taste the range of whiskies.

  2. Botanisor Florists are offering a half day personal lesson for one person on how to arrange flowers under the guidance of an experienced florist, they will come away with their own creation and vase.

  3. A range of books to be auctioned as one lot all signed by their authors, from suspense fiction, recipe books and autobiography. Dr Karl. Grahame Simson. Jo Dixon. Matthew Evans. Josh Pomare, Julie Goodwin but to name some.

  4. Behind the Scenes Tours from Launceston City Council.
    The winning bidder will get to choose one of the following:
    - Accompanying the Mayor up the Town Clock stairs for a tour
    - Visiting the Town Hall Flag pole
    - A backstage visit to Princess Theatre
    - A behind the scenes tour of the Monkey set up at City Park

  5. Rhuby Delights are offering a 2 hour experience for one person with the owner and creator and provide a very authentic insight into all things freeze dried and chocolate coating at the Rhuby Delight factory valued at $200.00.

  6. Van Diemen's Ice Creamery is offering a masterclass in ice cream making for one person. The participant gets to take home their creation.

  7. Leaping Goat Coffee is offering for 2 people a two hour roasting workshop experience. Discover the heart of coffee roasting, from bean to cup and get to take home 2 x 500g bags of freshly roasted beans.
