Join the Junior Chef Masterclass, a unique opportunity for young culinary enthusiasts to learn from award-winning chef Paul Foreman! This exciting event is designed to challenge and inspire junior chefs as they create delicious mains and desserts in a commercial kitchen setting. Under the expert guidance of Chef Paul, kids will not only stretch their skills and talents but also gain confidence in the kitchen.

Paul Foreman is a celebrated chef with over 30 years of experience in the culinary world. Known for his passion for fresh, local produce and innovative cooking techniques, Paul has garnered acclaim for his creative dishes and commitment to excellence. His career spans across renowned restaurants, and he has been instrumental in shaping Tasmania's vibrant food scene. Chef Paul’s dedication to mentoring the next generation of chefs makes this masterclass a truly special experience.

The Junior Chef Masterclass offers two sessions on Friday, October 11th. The morning session at 9:30 am is tailored for ages 9-13 this session is now SOLD OUT, while the afternoon session at 2:00 pm is for ages 14-17. In each session, participants will learn to prepare and present a range of dishes, culminating in a shared lunch where they can enjoy the fruits of their labor together. It’s not just about cooking; it’s about building lifelong skills and a love for culinary arts.

Beyond the kitchen, this masterclass also supports a great cause. All ticket sales will be donated to Hope Cafe, a community initiative run by Teen Challenge Tasmania. Hope Cafe provides a safe and welcoming space for not just those in need in our community however it is as training ground for youth to gain skills & experience in the hospitality industry to move on to employment whilst being supported. By participating in this event, your budding chefs will not only hone their culinary skills but also contribute to making a positive impact on the lives of other young people.

Supported by The Tasmanian Hospitality Association, the Junior Chef Masterclass is more than just a cooking lesson—it’s a chance to inspire and empower the next generation of chefs.
