Struggling? Overwhelmed? Lost yourself? Life Out of Control? Don’t know who you are anymore or where you’re going? Grieving?
Life can be hard and there's no road maps provided. Sometimes we just need a moment in time to stop, relax and purposely spend time on ourselves to re-centre and examine where we are at. What are our hopes and dreams? What step can I take to move forward?
Stop and Smell the Roses is an Adult Expressive Art Therapy Workshop, designed to create a safe, welcoming space for you to do just that. It's a relaxed time fo creative self-reflection to find inspiration in your emotional, psychological and spiritual journey.
Co-ordinated by Anna Cameron, Art Therapist Practitioner and Laura De Bruyn, Art Therapist Practitioner (in training) who already work with so many young people effectively exploring this space every week, this is an answer to the requests they have had to run an adult workshop.
Absolutely NO ARTISTIC TALENT REQUIRED. All materials and equipment are supplied for the activities during the afternoon. A delightful, delicious Afternoon Tea is provided by the funky Hope Cafe - a youth initiative by Teen Challenge Tasmania.
Located in The Upper Room, a delightfully & luxuriously, restored Art Deco Theaterette, above Hope Cafe and Hope Costumes & Thrift Store (entrance inside the building) at 90 St John St, Launceston (opposite Burger Junkie).
