Join us in “The Upper Room” our recently restored Art Deco Theatrette above our Hope Costumes & Thrift Store for a special Chick Flick & Dessert night Tuesday 24th Jan.

So here’s how it works - you grab your tickets, your favourite friends, put on you finest threads or just your comfy clothes and leave room for yummy desserts.

Join us at the front door of 90 St John St @ 7pm, you'll be directed upstairs to our gorgeous Theaterette and grab a plate or two or three of delicious sweet & savoury delicacies from the dessert grazing table, then kick back and enjoy the movie, remember those that get in first get to choose the beautiful snuggly beanbags in the front area.

REDEEMING LOVE is a powerful and timeless love story that takes place against the backdrop of the California Gold Rush of 1850. The story centers on Angel (Abigail Cowen), who was sold into prostitution as a child. She has survived through hatred and self-loathing, until she meets Michael Hosea (Tom Lewis) and discovers there is no brokenness that love can't heal. The story reflects the redemptive power of unconditional and sacrificial love with characters and circumstances relevant to the contemporary world.
