Teen Challenge Tasmania & Devonport Chaplaincy have collectively been mentoring young people for 20 years in Tasmania. We have assisted many organisations including Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre, Rural Health Tasmania, City Mission Launceston, Free2b Girls, Beaconsfield Neighbourhood House to name a few, to train, upskill and refresh their team members working with youth.
Mentoring Training workshops are a fantastic resource for personal or professional development for parents, teachers, workplaces, youth workers, support staff, church teams or anyone really. Areas included within the training are mentoring skills, communication skills, boundaries, goal setting, questioning techniques, strength mining & building, self care, mental health topics, bullying and more.
Please note this course is for Professional Development only, if you are wanting to become a Mentor within Connections Mentoring Projects at our participating schools then please apply for the Dedicated Mentor Training Workshops.
Training is conducted over two days. Total cost for training includes lunch, morning and afternoon teas and training manual. Training will be held at 90 St John Street, Launceston on the 24th & 25th February 2022, 9.00am - 4.00pm
